Final Nightmare: This is an on-rails shooter! You can’t control the platform, just aim and shoot.4th Nightmare: Defeat the waves of armored Shades to complete the Nightmare.Completing this Nightmare also earns you the two-handed sword: Fool’s Lament! 3rd Nightmare: Defeat the horde of machines to complete the Nightmare.Dark Whirlwind is a great way to plow through all the red magic-shooting enemies. Defeat all the Shades to complete the Nightmare. You’ll eventually find the very large final room. 2nd Nightmare: This takes place inside the Junk Heap.Barren Temple-style rules will be introduced as the time progresses. 1st Nightmare: For this Nightmare, you must defeat the large Shade as quickly as possible.

The only Shade you’re required to defeat is the large one at the end of the stage. You can defeat them all or just the ones standing in your way. In regards to the enemies - if you want, you could actually avoid most of them by dodging/ jumping over them.

Final Nightmare: This is actually a 2D-style platformer! You’ve got to make it to the end of the stage while jumping on sinking platforms, avoiding quicksand, and fending off enemies.

Hit it from behind, or parry as it attacks to inflict some serious damage on it!

4th Nightmare: After a short wave of enemies, you’ll need to defeat a large, heavily armored Shade.

Completing this Nightmare also earns you the one-handed sword: Fool’s Embrace! The ones in this fight eventually use anti-magic barriers.

3rd Nightmare: Another fight where you must fight through several waves of Shades.

You need to survive and defeat the many waves of Shades attacking you in front of the Manor.

2nd Nightmare: This one is pretty straight forward.

Defeat it to move onto the next Nightmare. It’s the one that creates spikes of lava.

You’ve fought this Shade plenty of times before. Just jump over the railing! You’ll avoid all the Shades on the stairs and begin the fight with the only Shade that matters. To make this go WAY faster, don’t use the stairs. 1st Nightmare: To complete this Nightmare, you just have to defeat the Shade at the bottom floor.
